Wise Woman Ministries exists to equip, edify, and encourage women within the body of Christ. It is our desire that every woman builds her own house upon the foundation of Jesus, exercising godly wisdom and direction.
Wise Woman Bible Study
We are excited to offer two options for Spring 2026:
1 & 2 Peter - Living Hope in a Hard World by Lydia Brownback
In this study, we will learn that God does not abandon us in our suffering. Through the themes of suffering, the transformative power of God, spiritual authority, false teachers, and the last days, Peter directs us to the God who is faithful in our trials, working them for His glory and our good.
Freedom for Mothers by Denise Glenn
Based on John 15, you will take a journey into God's Word to discover the fullness and freedom you can experience as a woman and as a mother. You will find the source to fill your "love bucket," recognize common mothering traps, and deal decisively with self-defeating habits. Great for all mothers but especially moms of tweens and teens.
Both studies will kick off on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 with an Agape Feast. While registration has officially closed, these studies are open and you are still welcome to join us. If you're interested, please contact the church office at 719-661-8580 or info@springslighthouse.org.

Lead Like Jesus
If you are a woman who leads in any capacity (ministry, work, family, etc.), we encourage you to attend our bi-monthly meetings. "Lead Like Jesus" is a leadership development program specifically for women, and each session is a stand-alone unit, so you are welcome to join us whenever you are available. We typically meet on the 4th Monday of every other month at 6:30 PM. Our next meeting date is Monday, January 26, 2026. Wise Woman Christmas Tea
The ladies of Springs Lighthouse had a lovely evening at the 2025 Wise Woman Christmas Tea. Sally Stockwell brought a message titled Dashing Through the Woe and reminded us that no matter what we go through, God is always with us and He will see us through. You can listen to her message here.
Wise Woman Getaway
The ladies of Springs Lighthouse enjoy a weekend away from the busyness of life each year. These getaways feature in-depth Bible study, opportunities for fellowship and making new friends, downtime, and most importantly, time to simply sit at the feet of Jesus.
The ladies had a fantastic time at our most recent Getaway in early May, 2025. We hope that you will make plans to join us next year. The dates are April 24-26, 2026.
