Scott Stone- Assistant Pastor

Scott grew up in Colorado Springs with his mother, father, and two siblings where his family attended Rocky Mountain Calvary. When Scott was 15, his parents divorced, and his family stopped attending church. Scott visited many churches and religious organizations, but never felt that they captured the essence of a real relationship with Jesus. He knew that God was calling him back to a church that taught the Bible verse by verse so he could grow. Scott met his wife Aleyana in 2011. They were married in 2014 and now have two beautiful children together.
While working with the Sheriff’s office, Scott worked extra duty services at Mountain Springs West where he was encouraged to participate in their Bible studies. When Mountain Springs West closed, Scott and Aleyana found Springs Lighthouse and reconnected with Pastor Brian Michaels.  During this time, Brian and Scott worked together at the Sheriff’s Office.

Tragically on February 5 th , 2018, Scott and three other officers were shot during the arrest of a suspect. Scott received a near fatal wound during this incident and he prayed to the Lord, “God, if you allow me to stay here with my family, I will do what you want me to do. I am yours, Lord.” Scott survived by the grace of God. He faced a long road of recovery and still struggles physically with injuries received from this event. In the fall of 2018, Scott felt God directing him to serve the body at Springs Lighthouse, so he began to serve in the security ministry. From there he helped in any way that he
was able.

After much prayer and discussion with Aleyana, Scott answered the call to ministry. Scott now studies under Pastor Brian as an Assistant Pastor. Scott works behind the scenes with administration and assists anytime the need arises.
