May Missions Spotlight: SHIELD616
Supporting Those Who Serve and Protect
This month at Springs Lighthouse, we’re honored to shine our May Missions Spotlight on SHIELD616—a powerful ministry that stands with peace officers and first responders in a very practical and deeply spiritual way.
Founded with a heart to protect those who serve, SHIELD616 provides all-day rifle-rated protection gear to law enforcement officers and first responders across the nation. Their mission is simple, yet incredibly impactful: equip, encourage, and uplift those on the front lines of our communities.
The name SHIELD616 is inspired by Ephesians 6:16 (NKJV):
But SHIELD616 doesn’t stop at body armor. They recognize that true support goes beyond physical protection. That’s why they build lasting relationships between officers and local churches—creating a network of prayer, encouragement, and community care.
Why does this matter?
In today’s world, our peace officers and first responders often face immense challenges, both physically and emotionally. SHIELD616 steps in with a Christ-centered response—not with criticism, but with compassion. Their goal is to be a light in a culture that can sometimes be quick to judge and slow to support.
Here’s how SHIELD616 makes a difference:
This kind of ongoing support is only possible through the generosity of people like you. When you give to SHIELD616, you’re not just donating gear—you’re offering hope, encouragement, and a powerful reminder that these brave men and women are seen, loved, and valued.
Let’s be a light.
Join us in praying for and supporting SHIELD616 this month. Together, we can show the love of Christ to those who selflessly protect us every day.
